Description
Edited by Jules and Kaethe Kliot
This book is a combination of publications from the first part of the 20th century, edited into this great new book by Lacis Publishing and is a followup to the book Teneriffe Lace – Volume I. As with Volume I, it provides wonderful patterns and ideas that still work today. The book includes written instructions, sketches, and black and white photos for dozens of pieces, as well as explaining a bit of the history and the materials needed to create these beautiful pieces of lace. The book includes portions of Teneriffe Lace Work by DMC (about 1910), The Lace Maker by S. Hadley (1903), Stamped Patterns by Proctor Teneriffe Lace Wheel Company (1905), and Sonnen-Spitzen by Neidner and Weber (1910). About half the book is written in English, and about half of the book is written in German text. 86 pages
